Metro Detroit Eosinophil Support Group
Many of you may not know what this is, but many parents may be aware of the Eosinophil-associated Gastrointestinal Disorders (EGIDs: Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EE), Eosinophilic Gastritis (EG), Eosinophilic Gastroenteritis (EGE) and Eosinophilic Colitic (EC) is being diagnosed at higher numbers on a daily basis. This disorder is similar to GERD (gastro-esophageal reflux disorder).
We are pleased to announce the start of a support group for those living with any of these disorders. These support groups are run by families for families and are being coordinated by Kelly Teague, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
